Mosquito-Borne Flaviviruses – Open Webinar
On April 10 at 15:00 CEST FLAVIVACCINE coordinator, Julien Pompon, will be a featured speaker in an upcoming webinar. His talk, titled "Mosquito-borne Orthoflaviviruses Secrete a Viral Non-coding RNA to Amplify Transmission by Inhibiting Early Innate Immune Response," will explore key insights into flavivirus transmission mechanisms.
Julien Pompon leads the Inter-host Arbovirus Transmission (iHAT) team at the MIVEGEC unit, Institute of Research for Development (IRD).
This webinar is organized by the LWNVIVAT project as part of a series on emergent pathogens, with a particular focus on flaviviruses. The sessions are open to all and free of charge.
Previously, FLAVIVACCINE’s sister project, Yellow4FLAVI, also took part in this series. Its coordinator, Giovanna Barba-Spaeth, presented on “Flaviviruses Immunological Crosstalk: The Impact of Vaccination.”
