FLAVIVACCINE represented at The European Researchers’ Night in Portugal
European Researchers' Night took place on 26 September 2025. The event is promoted by the European Commission through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. FLAVIVACCINE was represented in Portugal.
i3S represented FLAVIVACCINE during the event which is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Attendees had the chance to immerse themselves in the world of science by participating in games about vector-borne infectious diseases, experiments and discussions, while engaging with researchers.

About “The European Researchers’ Night”
This initiative aims to bring research and researchers closer to the public, promoting dialogue and understanding between science and society. Each year, it attracts over 1.5 million visitors into museums, universities and research institutions in 460 cities across 25 countries, in Europe and beyond, creating unique opportunities for people of all ages to engage directly with research. This year it welcomed over 1.5 million people.
By promoting excellent research projects it showcases the diversity and quality of scientific work taking place across Europe. At the same time, the event aims to spark curiosity and inspire young people to consider careers in science and research, while highlighting the tangible ways in which researchers’ work influences and improves our daily lives.
